Corinne's Story
At age 50, Corrine lost her upper teeth to periodontal disease. A transitional denture was made. We discussed Corrine's options. She did not want to wear an upper, removable denture. A complicating factor was the limited amount of bone available. Utilizing advanced, computer guided, Simplant
® technology, we located five areas of bone, dense enough to retain dental implants.
A custom made, stereolithic template enabled us to place five implants in the best receptor sites. Corrine wore her upper denture until the jaw bone grew against and fused to the implants. Her hybrid denture was secured in place, restoring function, aesthetics and lip support. More important, Corrine's self confidence was restored. No more denture adhesives or embarrassing slippage. No more sore spots and ulcerations.
